So Long, London
This poster I made is inspired by the beautifully written track 'So Long, London' from The Tortured Poets Department by Taylor Swift. Its sadness revolving around the song and the grey theme of the album itself helped inspire the way this poster was made. I love this piece so much with its use of grain and threshold and I hope to make more pieces like this in the future.
Short N' Sweet
The poster here is inspired by the outstanding album 'Short N' Sweet' by the equally amazing singer Sabrina Carpenter. I decided to use lyrics from the opening track here and also use different photos from the photoshoot to make this poster. I used various photos with threshold and added other details, like the kiss mark, as it is associated with the album. I love the turnout of this!
Ruin The Friendship
This poster is inspired by the heartbreaking pop track from Taylor Swift's twelfth studio album 'The Life Of A Showgirl'. Ruin The Friendship depicts a theme of not having the chance to tell someone you love them before it's too late. The gut wrenching theme of the song helped inspire the poster. I used darker, intimate colours to show this songs sad themes.
Man's Best Friend
This poster I used my handwriting to write out the track list. I also used a cut out effect around Sabrina Carpenter so as if she was cut out from paper and stuck on. I really like this effect as it makes it have a 3 dimensional look and have a beautiful view. I also used my handwriting as it makes it look like that she wrote it down and I really like the look of this!
SO CLOSE TO WHAT???
This poster is inspired by the colour aesthetic and the bold look of the album. I decided to go through each deluxe track and make a poster based on their vibe. A black background for 'anything but love' for its ruthless sound and aesthetic but a lighter blue for 'trying on shoes' for its angelic sound and its metaphorical use of getting over someone.
And Theres More To Come!!
